"THIRSTY THURSDAY"
defined as a day to share SOMETHING...
ANYTHING...
that makes my mouth water...
quenches my creative taste buds...
or satisfies my thirst for inspiration.
ok...so these signs from my painted porch aren't REALLY "vintage"...
but they're made to look that way.
aren't they beautiful?
i'm not sure what it is about wooden signs like this...
they make me SO happy when i see them.
maybe....
as a designer...
it's just my simple appreciation of the typography -
or the shape of the sign...
or the texture?
i believe it's probably the combination of all three of those elements!
regardless...
i knew i just HAD to share these with you when i found them...
and what better day than on a "thirsty thursday"...*wink*
these have me SO inspired...
i may just have to try my hand at making one?
what do you think?
anyone out there ever tried it?
hmmm....
i DO think it'd be cute to make a vintage "lemonade" sign for the upcoming party? *wink*
Keeping It Real
i think we're going to have to push the party back to june 26th because we found out ema's best friend has a dance recital and won't be able to come. (it buys me a little more time BUT...c'mon already...em's been waiting since March - and now Clara will have waited a month after HER birthday.
i've got an adorable teacher/administrator gift idea to share with you. i hope to post it tomorrow. (we've got one more week of school left so i'd better hurry up and get it together).
today's 343 challenge update HERE!

Ah, Yes, Jess, I can see why the signs are thirst quenching! I think you would make an awesome sign.
Sitting in my scraproom and looking at my goodies gives me inspiration. I am going to find the time to quench that thirst. It is summer....It is not good to be thirsty, wink!
Hugs,
Renee
