Okay so the reason that I am posting something on my mom's blog, and she isn't, is because I decided to "surprise" her (aka sneak into to her office while she is making dinner), and type a sweet message for her on her very own blog. I am hoping that she will check it like she does every night before she goes to bed, and see my post to her. So I guess I should go ahead and start...
Dear Mom,
You are an amazing and beautiful person. You are such an inspiration to many people including me. I am one of your biggest fans! (I couldn't say I was your biggest fan because then Jay would have been mad... lol just kidding). You are what I call "A True Work Of Art". Even though we have our differences, I hope you know that I will love you forever and ever. You are my best friend, and nothing will ever change that.
Here is a poem that I found just for you! I hope you like it!
A Poem For Mom:
You are the sunlight in my day,
You are the moon I see far away. You are the tree I lean upon,
You are the one that makes troubles be gone.
You are the one who taught me life,
How not to fight, and what is right.
You are the words inside my song,
You are my love, my life, my mom.
You are the one who cares for me,
You are the eyes that help me see.
You are the one who knows me best,
When it's time to have fun and time to rest.
You are the one who has helped me to dream,
You hear my heart and you hear my screams.
Afraid of life but looking for love,
I'm blessed for God sent you from above.
You are my friend, my heart, and my soul
You are the greatest friend I know.
You are the words inside my song,
You are my love, my life, my Mom.
Love, Clara

Dear Clara,
That was the sweetest thing I have ever read and it even made me tear up. We all know just how much your mom loves you girls by the things she says in her posts and it was very sweet of you to share with your mom (and all of us) how much you care for her. It makes me so happy that I have a daughter of my own and I hope that I can have that same relationship with her as she grows up! Happy Valentine's Day to you!
Wow, how beautiful Clara. Jess, you are truly blessed to have such a thoughtful daughter.
Oh Clara... what a treasure!!!
Clara,
you are a very cool kid who has an incredibly talented mom. Hope your day was fabulous. Happy Valentine's Day to you all!
Clara....I'm speechless. and so touched.
I about fell out of my seat when I came in here to work this morning. (I never did make it to coming back to my computer last night). I love you so much - and you are so sweet to leave me a message on my own blog. (and I'm super impressed that you even know HOW to post something here...and you've obviously got my password memorized for everything I do to be able to access it). *wink* That extra class you took last semester through virtual school taught you A LOT about blogging. You've made my day. Thank you for taking the time to do something SO sweet!! I love you more than you know. Happy Valentine's Day to you too.
OH, How sweet!!! What a lovely and thoughtful way to say Happy Valentine's Day (and SO PERFECT)!
I hope your whole family had a wonderful day!

I LOVE that Clara hijacked your computer and left you a note on your very own blog! Brilliant.
The poem she wrote just melted me. That is a little girl that loves her momma and isn't afraid to tell her.
Happy 'belated' Valentine's Day to you and yours. Hugs
Clara what a beautiful poem! I see you have inherited your mom's gift of writing!
